[HISTORY: Adopted by the Township Committee of the Township
of Maplewood 9-15-2020 by Ord. No. 3005-20. Amendments noted where applicable.]
The provisions of N.J.A.C. 8:27 regarding the procedures for
the licensing and operation of body art establishment be and are hereby
adopted by the Township of Maplewood.
A licensing fee of $200 will be charged for the initial licensing
of any body art establishment.
Annually, on or before January 1st of each year, each body art
establishment shall apply for a license renewal with the Township
of Maplewood Health Officer at a fee of $200 annually.
Any person who shall violate any provisions of this chapter
or who shall refuse to comply with a lawful order directive of the
Health Authority shall be liable for penalties as provided by N.J.S.A.
26:1A-10 and all other applicable law and/or injunctive actions as
provided by law, or both.
