A. 
The Borough of Mount Pocono, Monroe County, Pennsylvania, hereby enacts and ordains the following, known as the "Parking Ordinance," establishing a two-hour parking limit on all streets in the Borough of Mount Pocono, with the exception of the following Borough streets upon which parking has been prohibited:
(1) 
Fairview Avenue from SR 611 to the intersection with Oak Street;
(2) 
Kinney Avenue East from SR 611 to Knox Street;
(3) 
Kinney Avenue West from SR 611 to Manor View Avenue;
(4) 
Center Avenue from SR 611 to Manor View Avenue;
(5) 
Church Avenue from SR 611 to Manor View Avenue;
(6) 
All of Elm Street;
(7) 
All of Monroe Street;
(8) 
All of Reeder Street.
B. 
The above-described streets of the Borough shall be posted with no parking signage.
A. 
It shall be unlawful for any person to park his or her vehicle on the sidewalk of any of the Borough Streets, except for emergency situations.
B. 
It shall be unlawful for any person to park his or her vehicle in the travel way of any of the Borough streets.
C. 
Overnight parking is prohibited on all streets of the Borough between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. without prior approval of the Pocono Mountain Regional Police Department.
It shall be unlawful for any person to park, to allow any person to park, any truck, truck-tractor, trailer without cab, bus, recreation vehicle or combination having a height greater than nine feet or a length greater than 20 feet, or to allow such vehicles to remain parked on any street within the Borough at any time.
Violations of the within article shall constitute a summary offense. Violators will be subject to a summary citation imposing a monetary fine up to the maximum permitted by law.
