§ 7-1
Position established. 

§ 7-2
Appointment. 

The position of Health Officer is hereby established in and for the Borough of Conway in accordance with the provisions of Article 31 of the Borough Code.

The Health Officer shall have the general supervision of the health laws and ordinances of the Borough of Conway and shall perform all the duties and exercise all the powers previously vested in the Board of Health by virtue of appropriate law.

The first appointment to the position of Health Officer shall be made by the Borough Council in the manner prescribed by law as soon as practical after the adoption of this chapter.
