The Construction Official shall administer and
enforce the zoning provisions of this chapter and shall have such
powers as are conferred upon him by this chapter and as may reasonably
be implied. The duties of the Code Enforcement Officer shall also
include referring to the Construction Official any conditions or circumstances
which they believe may be a violation of this chapter.
The Borough Engineer shall consult with and
assist the Construction Official in enforcing the provisions of the
subdivision and site plan portions of this chapter.
The Secretary of the Planning Board shall process
all applications made to the Board and shall be the custodian of official
records of said Board and shall handle such other duties as the Board
may designate.

In case any building or structure is erected,
constructed, altered, repaired, converted, maintained or used in violation
of the Municipal Land Use Law or of this chapter, the Borough of Sea
Bright, the Zoning Officer or any interested party, in addition to
other remedies, may institute any appropriate action or proceeding
to prevent such unlawful erection, construction, reconstruction, alteration,
repair, conversion, maintenance or use, to restrain, correct or abate
such violation, to prevent the occupancy of said building, structure
or land or to prevent any illegal act, conduct, business or use in
or about such premises.
