Borough of Sea Bright, NJ Chapter 204 Vital Statistics

Article I Licenses and Records for Marriages, Civil Unions, Domestic Partnerships, Births and Deaths

§ 204-1 License fees established.

The following is established as the fee to be paid for licenses:

A. Marriage license: $28.

B. Civil union license: $28.

C. Domestic partnership: $28.

§ 204-2 Records; fee for certified or certification copies.

The Registrar of Vital Statistics of the Borough shall keep a record of all marriages, civil unions, domestic partnerships, births, and deaths and shall report to the appropriate authorities as required by law. The fee for certified or certification copies of marriages, civil unions, domestic partnerships, birth or death certificates shall be $10 each.

§ 204-3 Fee for search of files and records.

For any search of files and records of marriages, civil unions, domestic partnerships, births or deaths when the correct year is supplied by the applicant, the Registrar shall be entitled to fees as provided by N.J.S.A. 26:8-64.

Article II Miscellaneous Fees and Services

§ 204-4 Ceremonies performed by Mayor.

For marriage, civil union or domestic partnership ceremonies performed by the Mayor of Sea Bright, the fee shall be $300.
