Editor's Note: This ordinance also repealed Ord. No. 326, adopted 3-8-1971, and provided that members of the present Planning Commission appointed pursuant to Ord. No. 326 would continue in office for the terms for which they were appointed.

A Planning Commission for the Borough of Palmerton shall be created having seven members, serving without compensation, with a term of four years; however, with terms staggered so as to require replacement of not more than three members in any calendar year. Said Planning Commission shall be organized pursuant to the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code, Act 247 of 1968 (53 P.S. § 10202 through 10208[1]), with powers and duties as set forth in 53 P.S. § 10209.1.
