[Adopted 9-8-2003 by Ord. No. 03-13]
Public Act 61 of the 2003 Regular Session of
the Michigan Legislature which amends 1949 PA 300 (Michigan Vehicle
Code) and which is to take effect September 30, 2003, is incorporated
and adopted by reference.
All references in the act to "governmental unit"
or "township" shall mean the Township of Grosse Ile.
The Township Clerk shall publish this article
in the manner required by law and shall publish a notice stating the
purpose of the article and the fact that a complete copy of the public
act is made available to the public at the office of the Township
Clerk in compliance with state law requiring that records of public
bodies be make available to the general public.
Any provisions for jail term in the public act
shall not exceed 93 days under the terms of this article. The provisions
for fines and costs in the public act shall apply under the terms
of this article.
