The name of this article shall be the "Ridley Township Nighttime Fuel Delivery Ordinance."
The following words have special meanings for the purpose of this article.
DELIVERY
Any quantity of fuel received at a service station by any method designed to place such fuel into the dispensing pumps of the service station.
DELIVERY PERSON
Any party responsible to transport, deliver or unload such fuel at a service station.
DELIVERY VEHICLE
Any vehicle equipped to transport and/or deliver such fuels as are covered by this article.
FUELS
Any material that may be used to power any motor vehicle or appliance, including but not limited to gasoline, diesel oil and kerosene that is dispensed by a service station pump. Materials such as motor oil sold prepackaged in cans or other sealed dispensers are not fuels for the purpose of this article.
ON LOCATION
The actual place for the delivery of fuel as accomplished by dispensing such fuel into the pumps of the service station.
PUMP
Any mechanism designed to dispense such fuels or any storage facilities thereof.
SERVICE STATION
Any facility which is equipped to dispense fuel oils by pump, irrespective of whether or not it provides any other automotive-related services.

When any delivery of fuels is made to any service station in the Township of Ridley between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., local time, it shall be the duty of the delivery person to notify the Police Department of Ridley Township that such delivery is being made.
Such notification need not be made until the actual arrival of the delivery vehicle at the service station which is receiving the delivery of such fuel oils.
Once the delivery process begins, the delivery person must remain on location until the delivery of such fuel is completed.

Any person, firm or corporation violating any provisions in this article shall, upon conviction before any District Justice, be subject to a fine of not exceeding $1,000, and costs of prosecution, and in default of payment of fine and costs, the violator may be imprisoned in the county jail for not more than 30 days. Each and every day which any person shall be in violation of this article shall constitute a separate offense.
