[Adopted 3-19-1975 as Ch. 61, Art. II, of the 1975 Code]
Hereafter it shall be unlawful for any person, partnership or corporation to deposit any rubbish of any kind, except as created on the land, unless the person so using the land shall first obtain a permit from the Board of Commissioners of the Township of Ridley.
The application for such a permit shall describe the location of the land, the name of the owner or owners and the name of the person, partnership or corporation seeking permission to make deposit of such materials.
[Amended 10-25-2000 by Ord. No. 1808]
The person, partnership or corporation receiving this permit shall pay to the Township of Ridley, for deposit in the treasury of the Township, the sum as set from time to time by resolution of the Board of Commissioners for each year or fraction thereof.
The person, partnership or corporation to whom such permit is granted shall, at his or their expense, keep such dump leveled off and cleaned in a manner suitable to the Board of Commissioners, and also prevent the same from catching on fire.
Such dump shall be inspected on the part of the Township officers or the Board of Health, and the disregard of any reasonable regulation shall be grounds to vacate or cancel the permit.
