It is intended that this chapter shall be an
amendment to Ordinance Nos. 1441, 1327 and 237 (as previously supplemented
and amended), and is not intended to be a new zoning code, but that
the repeal, abrogation or annulment of certain sections of Ordinance
Nos. 1441, 1327 and 237 (as previously supplemented and amended),
shall only be operative in such sections where the provisions of the
instant ordinance are inconsistent with or contrary to the terms of
Ordinance Nos. 1441, 1327 and 237 (as previously supplemented and
amended), and in all such cases in which such provisions of Ordinance
Nos. 1441, 1327 and 237 (as previously supplemented and amended) are
contrary to or inconsistent with the provisions of this chapter, the
provisions of this chapter shall prevail.
