No persons in any public park, or on a playground, lands or municipal property of the Borough of Allendale, as designated in
Schedule 1, attached to and made a part of this article, shall:
A. Drive, park, use, store or haul any motorized vehicle, truck, van,
automobile, boat, watercraft or recreational vehicle upon, across
or over any of said properties, except those vehicles and watercraft
owned and operated by the Borough of Allendale or under the direction,
supervision or control of the Borough Administrator.
B. Camp; picnic; hunt, trap, fish or molest, harm, frighten, kill, chase,
tease, shoot or throw any objects at any animal, fish, reptile or
bird; or remove or possess the young of any wild animal or the eggs
or nest or young of any reptile or bird.
C. Use said lands, except between the hours of one hour before sunrise
and one hour after sunset or as part of a wildlife management program
adopted by the Borough Council by resolution or ordinance.

D. Build or attempt to build a fire or drop, throw or otherwise scatter
lighted matches, burning cigarettes or cigars, tobacco, paper or other
inflammable material.
E. Bring any alcoholic beverages into or drink any alcoholic beverages
in said parks, playgrounds and lands, except for alcoholic beverages
brought in by or consumed by persons using the Red Barn at Crestwood
Park pursuant to a permit issued by the Borough.
F. Throw, discharge or otherwise place or cause to be placed in the
waters of any pond or stream on or adjacent to any park, playground
or lands of any tributary, stream, storm sewer or drain flowing into
such water, any substances, matter or thing, liquid or solid, which
may or will result in the pollution of said water.
G. Bring in or dump, deposit or leave any broken glass, ashes, paper
boxes, cans, dirt, rubbish, waste, garbage, refuse, trash, building
materials, grass clippings, wood chips or any other inappropriate
matter.
H. Bring or have in said person's possession or set off or otherwise cause to explode or discharge or burn any firearms, guns, firecrackers, torpedo, rocket or other fireworks or explosives or inflammable material or discharge them or throw them into said park, playground or lands. The prohibition in this Subsection
H shall not be applicable to any fireworks show conducted or sponsored by the Borough for the Fourth of July holiday.
I. Permit, allow or bring any pets on said park, playground or lands. As used in this Subsection
I, "pets" shall include but not be limited to dogs (except for those dogs whose presence is permitted under Borough Ordinance §
93-4), cats, house rabbits, ferrets, all rodents, including but not limited to, gerbils, hamsters, chinchillas, fancy rats, and guinea pigs; avian pets, including but not limited to, canaries, parakeets, and parrots; reptile pets, including but not limited to, turtles, lizards and snakes; aquatic pets, but not limited to, goldfish, tropical fish and frogs; and arthropod pets, including but not limited to, tarantulas and hermit crabs.
J. Release any animal or animals, domestic or wild, upon said lands
without the receipt of permission from the Borough Administrator or
the Borough Marsh Warden.
K. Bring in, have in said person's possession or use any weapon,
including but not limited to bows, arrows, slingshots or any other
apparatus designed to shoot projectiles.
L. Pick, remove, damage or destroy any flora, flowers, plants or vegetation.
M. Use or operate any remote-controlled car, boat, truck, or any other
unmanned remotely controlled vehicle or device, without prior written
approval by the Borough.
N. Place or otherwise cause to be placed any glass, stones, sticks,
papers, meat, vegetables, snow, ice, animal waste, household garbage
or any other debris of any kind whatsoever into dumpsters not specifically
designated for such use.

Nothing in this chapter shall prohibit the use of sporting arms
legal in New Jersey for regulated hunting according to state laws
and regulations, provided, however that any such use of such sporting
arms is:
A. On municipal
lands designated by a resolution of the Borough Council or by Borough
ordinance; and
B. Is pursuant
to a wildlife management program adopted by a resolution or ordinance
of the Borough Council.
Any person violating this article shall be subject to a fine
of no less than $200 and not to exceed $500 or to a term of imprisonment
not to exceed 90 days, or both. The Police Department of the Borough
of Allendale shall be the enforcement agency pursuant hereto.
