The owner or occupant of each and every building
in the Borough of Ridgefield shall provide a tightly covered watertight
can in which shall be placed all waste, animal or vegetable substances,
commonly called swill or garbage, from the premises of such owner
or occupant. Said can is to be a separate receptacle from that in
which ashes are contained. All such cans shall be kept tightly covered
and in an upright position; and all garbage cans are to be disinfected
during the summer months and removed from curbside immediately after
pickup.
