No premises shall be rented, let, leased or
occupied as a dwelling house unless said premises shall have a plentiful
supply of pure water, suitable for domestic purposes, furnished at
one (1) or more places in such house so that the same may be adequate
and reasonably convenient for the use of the occupants of said house.
Whenever the Board shall so direct, all houses
and other buildings abutting on streets in which a sewer is laid or
shall be laid shall be connected with said sewer by the owner, agent
or lessee of said premises.
