It is the legislative intent of this Town Board
to clarify by this chapter the structure, function and duties of the
departments operating within this Town government and to permit and
foster the orderly operation of these departments. In furtherance
of this end, the Town Board has designated the following departments
as operational units within the government of the Town of North Hempstead.
