The Town Board may establish or modify rate
zones within the Town and fix or modify a schedule of rates for transportation
by taxicabs from, to, within and between the various zones so established
and for transportation service by the hour. Any such determination
may be made by resolution adopted after a public hearing held by the
Town Board on notice of not less than seven days by publication in
a newspaper of general circulation within the Town.
