The Department Engineering and Public Works will provide key
services, upgrades and repairs to infrastructure within the Township.
The Department will have oversight over all Township-owned buildings
and facilities. During emergency situations, the Department will collaborate
with the Office of Emergency Management to assist with the overall
emergency operation plan for the Township.
The Head of the Department shall be the Director/Township Engineer.
The term of office for the Director/Township Engineer shall be one
year.
There may be employed a Superintendent of Public Works who shall
assist the head of the Department and who shall perform the duties
within the Public Works Division as assigned.
The Department of Engineering and Public Works shall consist
of: The Engineering Division and the Public Works Division. The Public
Works Division shall be divided into four subdivisions: Road Maintenance;
Building Maintenance; Parks and Shade Tree; and Automotive and Jitney.
