No person shall drive a taxicab within the limits of the Borough unless such person shall have a license issued for said purpose pursuant to the provisions of this article. Said license is referred to in this chapter as a "taxi driver's license."

No taxi driver's license shall be issued to any person unless such person shall:
A. 
Be the holder of a current motor vehicle operator's license issued by the State of New Jersey.
B. 
Be a resident of Bergen County for at least 90 days prior to the application for the license.
C. 
Be at least 19 years of age.[2]

The fee to be paid for the taxi driver's license shall be $10 per year.
A. 
Each licensed driver shall at all times have openly and conspicuously exhibited in the taxicab he is driving his license and photograph.
B. 
Any licensee who willfully or maliciously defaces, damages or obliterates any official entry made upon his license shall be subject to the penalty of revocation of said license.
