A. 
As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
PLUMBING CODE OF NEW JERSEY (REVISED 1964)
Refers to that certain code approved by the New Jersey State Department of Health on November 16, 1964, for adoption by reference in accordance with law, together with amendments thereof made on April 29, 1966, and June 17, 1968, being a code:
(1) 
Regulating the installation, maintenance, repair and control of the plumbing of buildings, and the connection thereof with outside sewers, cesspools or other receptacles;
(2) 
Regulating the practice of plumbing and the issuance of licenses to practice plumbing.
B. 
Whenever the following words, terms or phrases are used in the Plumbing Code of New Jersey (Revised 1964), they shall have the following meanings herein given:
BOARD OF HEALTH
Refers to the Board of Health of the Borough of Dumont.
MUNICIPALITY
Refers to the Borough of Dumont.
A. 
Pursuant to and in accordance with the provisions of L. 1948, c. 275 (N.J.S.A. 26:3-31.1 et seq.), there is hereby established and adopted as the Plumbing Code of the Borough the whole of the Plumbing Code of New Jersey (Revised 1964). A printed copy of said code is annexed to and incorporated by reference in the ordinance passed on March 1, 1966 adopting said code.
B. 
The Plumbing Code of New Jersey (Revised 1964) is hereby incorporated in this chapter by reference and made a part hereof as fully as though it had been set forth at length herein.
C. 
In accordance with law, three printed copies of the Plumbing Code of New Jersey (Revised 1964) have been placed on file in the offices of the Borough Clerk and the Secretary of the Board of Health and shall remain on file in said offices for the use and examination of the public so long as this chapter shall remain in effect.

In accordance with the provisions of this chapter and said Plumbing Code adopted thereby by reference, the following fees shall be charged and received:
A. 
For the examination of any applicant for a license as master plumber: $65.
B. 
For the filing of plans for a proposed plumbing work: 20% of permitted work.
C. 
For the issuance of a permit for a proposed plumbing construction or alteration, $65 minimum; provided, however, an additional fee of $30 per fixture is hereby established for each fixture.
D. 
For the issuance of a permit for the replacement of a plumbing fixture: $30.

Any person, firm or corporation who violates or neglects to comply with any provision of this chapter, including the Plumbing Code of New Jersey (Revised 1964) incorporated herein by reference, or notice issued pursuant thereto, shall, upon conviction thereof, be punished by a fine not less than $250 nor more than $2,000. A separate offense shall be deemed committed on each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues.
