The purpose of this chapter is to create and establish a Publicity Fund
and to provide for the appropriate expenditures therefrom in connection with
the Village of Rouses Point, New York.
A.
The terms, words and phrases used in this chapter shall
have the same meaning as such terms, words and phrases are defined in the
Village Law, Municipal Home Rule Law and other laws of the State of New York.
Authority is hereby granted to establish a Publicity Fund in, of and
for the Village of Rouses Point, Clinton County, New York, in accordance with
the authority granted under the Municipal Home Rule Law of the State of New
York and the general powers as provided in § 4-412 of the Village
Law of the State of New York, and it is specifically provided that there shall
be established a Publicity Fund and that the total amount of said fund shall
be $500 and that proper expenditures therefrom, in whole or in part, may be
used for the purpose of publicizing and promoting the Village of Rouses Point,
Clinton County, New York, and said fund shall be established on a yearly Village
annual basis.
