The Fire Department of the Village of Valley
Stream is authorized and permitted to go to aid any city or any village,
town or fire district, or any territory outside of a city, village
or fire district, in extinguishing a fire or fires therein, and while
in the performance of their duties in extending such aid, the members
of the Valley Stream Fire Department shall have the same immunities
and privileges as if performing the same within the Village of Valley
Stream.
The Board of Fire Commissioners or any member
thereof, or the Chief of the Fire Department, or an Assistant Chief
of the Fire Department or any person temporarily placed in charge
of the Fire Department by the Board of Fire Commissioners, shall decide
if such assistance is necessary and shall have control of the firemen
and the fire apparatus while so engaged.
No person other than those specifically enumerated in §
30-2 of this chapter shall have authority or permission to use the apparatus of the Valley Stream Fire Department to go to any territory outside of the Village of Valley Stream in order to render assistance in extinguishing fires.

Any person, firm, company, association, corporation
or business of any kind violating this chapter or any part thereof
shall be liable to a penalty not exceeding $1,000 and/or 15 days in
jail for each violation thereof, for the use of the Village, and any
violation of this chapter or any part thereof shall constitute disorderly
conduct, and any person violating this chapter or any part thereof
shall be and is hereby declared a disorderly person.
