Pursuant to § 2145 of the Penal Law of the State of New York,[1] permission is hereby given by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Valley Stream, Nassau County, New York, to play baseball games on the first day of the week and to witness which an admission fee may or may not be charged, subject, however, to the following conditions, restrictions and regulations:
A. 
No game of baseball shall be permitted to be played within the incorporated limits of said Village of Valley Stream on the first day of the week within 500 feet of any church or place of meeting or worship of any religious society or organization at a time when any religious service is being held in any such church or place of meeting or worship or within 500 feet of any cemetery or any portion of such cemetery.

Any person or persons, firm, association or corporation violating this chapter or any part thereof shall be liable for and forfeit and pay a penalty or fine of not less than $10 nor more than $100 for each violation thereof for the use of said Village. Any violation of this chapter or any part thereof shall constitute disorderly conduct, and the person so violating any provision of this chapter or any part thereof shall be and is hereby declared a disorderly person.
