The following is a list of the acts which were listed in Appendix B of the 1974 Edition of the Code of Public Local Laws:
Alcoholic beverages. Local laws repealed by ch. 501 of 1947. They previously had been cited in Green v. State, 170 Md. 137, 183 A. 526 (1936); Hayes v. State, 171 Md. 95, 188 A. 24 (1936); Thomas v. State, 173 Md. 680,197 A. 298,251 U. S. 286, 64 L. Ed. 284, 40 S. C. 145 (1938); Jones v. State, 184 Md. 16, 40 A. 2d 231 (1944); and Hitchins v. Cumberland, 208 Md. 145, 117 A. 2d 853 (1955).
Almshouse. Local laws repealed by ch. 10 of 1961.
Attachment of wages. Local laws repealed by ch. 348 of 1945.
Auditor. Local laws repealed by ch. 20 of 1974.
Bridges. Some local laws repealed by ch. 581 of 1941, others repealed by ch. 12 of 1961.
Building permits. Local law repealed by ch. 16 of 1974.
Camp meetings. Local law repealed by ch. 13 of 1961.
Cider. Local laws repealed by ch. 14 of 1961.

Crows and hawks. Local laws repealed by ch. 31 of 1961.
Cruelty to animals. Local laws repealed by ch. 584 of 1941.
Delmarva Peninsula. JR. 39 of 1974 encouraged cooperation with the Delmarva Advisory Council to maintain a viable rail service on the Delmarva Peninsula.
Disorderly conduct (Cambridge). Section 91 in the 1961 Code was repealed by Charter amendment 65-74-18, March 12, 1974. Earlier it had been cited in Matter of Cromwell and White, 232 Md. 412.
Dogs. Local laws repealed by ch. 578 of 1941.
Election districts. Some local laws repealed by chs. 346 and 347 of 1945.
Elections. Some local laws repealed by ch. 344 of 1945, others repealed by ch. 32 of 1961. Section 285 in the 1930 Code had been cited in Norris v. Baltimore, 172 Md. 685,192 A. 539 (1937).
Fences. Local laws repealed by ch. 33 of 1961. Ferries. Local laws repealed by ch. 358 of 1945.
Fire companies. Local laws repealed by ch. 17 of 1974, the preamble of which recited that:
"Whereas, in Section 3(w) of Article 25 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, there are provisions for a contribution by the County Commissioners to the several volunteer fire departments in the county, these provisions making unnecessary and obsolete the laws on this subject contained within the County Code of Public Local Laws; now, therefore...
Section 264 in the 1961 Code was cited in Williams v. Rescue Fire Company, being a case holding that an arena and swimming pool constructed by a volunteer fire department which was a city agency were not private facilities exempt from the provisions of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 254 F. Supp. 556 (1966).
Foxes. Local laws repealed by ch. 57 of 1974.
Hawkers and peddlers. Some local licensing laws repealed by ch. 360 of 1945.
Indexes. Local law for indexing of land records repealed by ch. 17 of 1961.
Junk dealers. Local licensing laws repealed by ch. 361 of 1945.
Jurors. Local laws repealed by ch. 34 of 1961.
Justices of the Peace. Local laws repealed by ch. 359 of 1945. One (1) of the sections had previously been amended by ch. 106 of 1937. Several of these sections were either cited or construed in these cases: Green v. State, 170 Md. 138, 144, 183 A. 526 (1936); Christopher v. State, 174 Md. 694, 198 A. 719 (1938); Mitchell v. State, 178 Md. 584,16 A. 2d 163 (1940).
Licenses. Local laws repealed by ch. 583 of 1941.
Livery stables. Local laws repealed by ch. 362 of 1945.
Livestock. Local laws repealed by ch. 35 of 1961. They had previously been amended by ch. 434 of 1933, ch. 253 of 1941 and ch. 601 of 1945.
Mills. Local laws repealed by ch. 580 of 1941.
Mortgages. Local law for taxing of mortgages repealed by ch. 27 of 1961.
Navigation. Local laws repealed by ch. 364 of 1945.
Notaries. Local laws repealed by ch. 579 of 1941.
Officers' fees. Local laws repealed by ch. 36 of 1961.
Orphans' Court. Local law repealed by ch. 15 of 1974.
Oysters. Local laws repealed by ch. 929 of 1945. They previously had been amended by ch. 506 of 1931 and ch. 303 of 1933.
Police (Cambridge). Section 57 in the 1961 Code was repealed by Charter amendment 37, September 29, 1969. Earlier it had been amended by Charter amendment 30.
Railroads. Local laws repealed by ch. 582 of 1941, ch. 357 of 1945 and ch. 77 of 1961. See also ch. 527 of 1941.
Recordation. Section 203 of the 1930 Code of Public Local Laws, concerning transfers on assessment records prior to the recordation of a conveyance, was repealed by ch. 385 of 1945, which enacted what became Section 10 of Article 21 in the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition). Section 203 had previously been amended by ch. 446 of 1935 and ch. 649 of 1939. Chapter 280 of 1953 added Section 141A to the 1930 Code of Public Local Laws, requiring transfers of property on assessment records prior to recordation by the Clerk of Court. This section was repealed by ch. 18 of 1961.
Sabbath observance. Local laws repealed by ch. 66 of 1931.
Saw mills. Local laws repealed by ch. 80 of 1961.
Schools. Local laws, concerning the Cambridge Female Seminary, repealed by ch. 355 of 1945.
Sheep. Local law repealed by ch. 576 of 1941.
Sheriff. Some local laws repealed by ch. 905 of 1947 and ch. 344 of 1961. They previously had been amended by ch. 43 of 1933, ch. 464 of 1933, ch. 777 of 1939 and ch. 886 of 1941.
Shooting on highways. Local law repealed by ch. 81 of 1961.
States' Attorney. Local laws repealed by ch. 564 of 1947. They previously had been amended by ch. 358 of 1933 and ch. 747 of 1941. See also Goldsborough v. Lloyd, 86 Md. 374.
Streets (Cambridge). Section 68 in the 1961 Code was repealed by Charter amendment 76-74-29, March 27, 1974. Earlier it had been construed in Cambridge v. Water Company, 99 Md. 504.
Sureties. Local law enacted by ch. 522 of 1969. Two (2) sections were repealed by ch. 65 of 1974.
Tax exemptions. Local law repealed by ch. 624 of 1945.
Trespass. Local laws repealed by ch. 82 of 1961.
Trial magistrates. See Justices of the Peace hereunder.
Vienna. Chapter 423 of 1922, which authorized the town to construct, own and operate a water system, was repealed by ch. 203 of 1933.
Wharves. Local laws repealed by ch. 83 of 1961.
Witnesses. Some local laws repealed by ch. 926 of 1947, others by ch. 84 of 1961.
