Pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 200 of
the Laws of 1971, there is hereby created the office of Municipal
Tax Collector.
The office of Municipal Tax Collector shall
be filled by election as provided by law.
The term of the Municipal Tax Collector shall
be four years from the first day of January next following his election.
The Municipal Tax Collector shall perform such
duties as are assigned from time to time by the Mayor or Council.
