A.
Any applicant who requests the issuance, reissuance
or renewal of any license or permit issued by or requiring the approval
of the governing body and/or of any agency and/or department of the
borough which issues permits shall be required to pay any delinquent
property taxes or assessments if he is the owner of said property
where the business or activity is to be conducted.
B.
Any license or permit issued by the governing body
or any permit issued by an agency or department of the borough may
be revoked or suspended by the governing body when any licensee who
is an owner of the property upon which the licensed business or activity
is conducted has failed to pay the taxes due on the property for at
least three consecutive quarters.
C.
Upon payment of the delinquent taxes or assessments,
the license or permit shall be restored.
Any applicant for a permit, license, approval
or relief used or usable in connection with a designated parcel of
real property located in the Borough of Wanaque shall submit proof
with such application that all real estate taxes and/or assessments
for local improvements and/or water fees against such real property
have been paid in accordance with N.J.S.A. 54:4-66 through the quarter
in which the application is filed.
No permit, license, approval or relief used
or usable in connection with a designated parcel of real property
located within the Borough of Wanaque shall be issued by any board,
body, officer and/or employee of the Borough of Wanaque unless all
real estate taxes and/or assessments for local improvements and/or
water fees against such real property have been paid in accordance
with N.J.S.A. 54:4-66 through the quarter in which the application
is filed.
