At any time a commercial or retail property
with windows visible from the street or sidewalk becomes vacant, unused
or unoccupied or is no longer functioning as an establishment open
for business or to the public, all windows, doors and/or openings
shall be covered by a shade, mini-blind or vertical blind. Said covering
shall be in one piece for each window.
Any blind or covering used shall hang in a neat
and orderly manner, and shall not have a disheveled appearance from
the exterior.
Soap, paper, opaque or cloth covering of a window
is prohibited.
One for rent/for sale sign shall be permitted
to be displayed in the lower right-hand corner of one window on the
right side window fronting on the sidewalk or street. Said sign shall
not be in excess of eight square feet.
