As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
TRAILER
Includes any vehicle not propelled by its own power drawn by a motor vehicle or motorcycle on any public highway within the corporate limits of the Village of Belle Terre.
Unless a permit has been duly issued therefor after written application to the Board of Trustees or the Mayor of the Village of Belle Terre, no person operating a motor vehicle or motorcycle on Cliff Road within the Village of Belle Terre shall draw any trailer thereon, nor shall any person park or leave standing any trailer on any public highway within the corporate limits of the Village of Belle Terre.
The violation of any provision of this chapter shall be punishable by a fine not exceeding $250 or by imprisonment for not more than 15 days, or both.
