Unless a written permit has been duly issued therefor after written application to the Board of Trustees or the Mayor of the Village of Belle Terre, no person, firm or corporation shall shut off, cut off, disconnect or in any way obstruct or prevent the supply of water supplied to or consumed by any person by means of water mains or service pipes for domestic use.
Unless a written permit has been duly issued therefor after written application to the Board of Trustees or the Mayor of the Village of Belle Terre, no person, firm or corporation shall shut off, cut off, disconnect or in any way obstruct or prevent the supply of water supplied to or consumed by the Village of Belle Terre by means of fire hydrants for fire protection.
The violation of any provision of this chapter shall be punishable by a fine not exceeding $250 or by imprisonment for not more than 15 days, or both.
