From and after the passage of this chapter,
it shall be unlawful for any person to disseminate by sale to minors
within the Township of Tinicum any butane canisters, dispensers or
refills.
Any person violating any of the provisions of
this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay a
fine of not more than $600, plus costs of prosecution, and, in default
of payment of such fine and costs, imprisonment in the county jail
for a period not exceeding 30 days. Every sale shall constitute a
violation of this chapter and shall be punishable by penalty as stated
above.
For the purpose of this chapter, it is hereby
determined that a "minor" shall be any person under the age of 18
at the time of the aforementioned sale.
