A certain document, three copies of which are on file in the office of the Township Secretary of the Township of Tinicum, being marked and designated as "The BOCA National Property Maintenance Code, Third Edition, 1990" as published by the Building Officials and Code Administrators International, Inc., be and is hereby adopted as the Property Maintenance Code of the Township of Tinicum, in the State of Pennsylvania; for the control of buildings and structures as herein provided; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said BOCA National Property Maintenance Code are hereby referred to adopted, and made a part hereof, as if fully set out in this chapter, with the additions, insertions, deletions and changes, if any, prescribed in § 265-3 of this chapter.
All ordinances or parts thereof in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
The BOCA National Property Maintenance Code is amended and revised in the following respects:
A. 
Section PM-111.0, Right to appeal, shall be eliminated in its entirety.
B. 
Section PM-301.2, Grading and drainage, shall be amended by deleting the "Exception" provided therein.
C. 
Section PM-301.8, Motor vehicles, shall be amended to read as follows: "Except as provided in other regulations, no currently unregistered and/or uninspected motor vehicle shall be parked, kept or stored on any property and no vehicle shall at any time be in a state of major disassembly, disrepair or in the process of being stripped or dismantled." The "exception" shall remain a part of this chapter.
D. 
Section PM-302.12, Insect screens, shall be amended to require said screens for the entire year and to remove habitable rooms from the requirement for such screens.
E. 
Section PM-302.15, Guards for basement windows, shall be eliminated in its entirety.
F. 
Section PM-505.1, General, shall be amended to read as follows: "All plumbing fixtures shall be properly connected to a public sewer system."
G. 
Section PM-100.1 (page 1, second line), insert "Township of Tinicum."
H. 
Section PM-109.2, Penalty, shall be amended to read as follows: "Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any provisions of this code shall pay a penalty not to exceed $1,000. Each day that a violation continues after due notice has been served, in accordance with the terms and provisions hereof, shall be deemed a separate offense."
