There is hereby established regulations for the relocation of buildings and structures in the Township of Manchester.
As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
RELOCATION
The movement of any building or structure either within the same lot and block or to another lot and block.
All buildings and structures to be relocated will be placed upon a foundation approved by the Construction Official with regard to all planning, zoning and building codes and regulations in effect at the time of relocation of the structure.
Any structure to be relocated will be a minimum of 22 feet wide and will meet the minimum square footage requirements of the zone in which the structure is to be relocated.
All appurtenances of the structure or building not a part of the approved structure, i.e., decks, porches, garages, et al., will be reconstructed of new materials and will meet all applicable codes in effect at the time of relocation.
The relocated building or structure shall be re-sided and reroofed with new materials which are of the same grade, quality, and general appearance as other new existing structures in the area. New material shall be material that has not been previously used and that is approved by current building codes and the Construction Official.
