A. 
It is hereby declared to be unlawful for any person to authorize, abet or perform any of the following acts:
(1) 
Shoot or throw any missile that is capable of injuring person or property;
(2) 
Discharge or carry any deadly weapon unless authorized by law;
(3) 
Discharge any slingshot, air rifle, air pistol or any gun or firearm of any nature whatsoever, except in necessary defense of person or property or authorized by law.
B. 
This section shall not be applicable where such devices are lawfully used in hunting as provided by the Pennsylvania Game Law and by the rules and regulations of the Pennsylvania Game Commission.
Any person who shall violate any of the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $1,000 and costs of prosecution, and, in default of payment of such fine and costs, to imprisonment for not more than 30 days.
