The community park is generally available for
public use from dawn to dusk throughout the year. Between dusk and
dawn, activity is limited to the following:
A. Jogging on the designated jogging track;
B. Overnight camping by scout troops and other similar
nonprofit organizations, providing that adequate adult supervision
is assured and providing that a special permit, which must be displayed
at the park entrance, is obtained.

A. For the protection of all patrons, only domesticated dogs are permitted
in the Community Park, subject to the following conditions:
(1) Aggressive dogs are not permitted. Dogs must be removed at first
sign of aggression. Any dog that starts to play rough, bite or fight
must be leashed and removed from the park immediately.
(2) All dogs must be under control and supervised by an adult of 18 years
of age or older with a limit of two dogs per owner.
(3) No dogs may be left unattended at any time.
(4) Dogs must be on a six-foot leash when entering and exiting the dog
park, and the leash must remain with the owner at all times.
(5) Female dogs in heat are prohibited.
(6) Choke, prong, pinch, electronic and spike collars are not permitted.
(7) Dog owners are responsible for picking up and disposing of their
dog's waste in the containers provided.
(8) Dog owners must fill in any holes that their dog digs.
B. All other animals, including cats and horses, are prohibited from
entering the Community Park.
Motor vehicles are permitted only in those sections
of the park clearly marked or established as being available for vehicular
traffic. A maximum speed limit of five miles per hour throughout the
park is hereby established.
Motor vehicle parking is restricted to designated
areas only. The owner or operator of any vehicle parked or left unattended
in a nonauthorized area shall be subject to a fine of $5. Each additional
hour that the vehicle remains in said unauthorized area shall constitute
a separate violation. In addition, the owner or operator of any motor
vehicle parked or left unattended on or along any access road or other
area which could hamper the access of emergency vehicles to the park
shall, in addition to the above fine, be liable for other criminal
penalties in accordance with the traffic laws of the Commonwealth
of Pennsylvania.
The dumping of any materials, which shall include
but not be limited to rubbish, trash, leaves, tree remains, household
appliances, or automobile parts, is strictly prohibited within the
park grounds, except upon written permit issued by the Director of
Recreation.

Conviction of a violation of any of the sections of this chapter, with the exception of §
305-4, shall be punishable by a maximum fine of $1,000, plus costs of prosecution, and, in default of payment of such fine and costs, by imprisonment for not more than 30 days.

Any person or groups of persons authorized to
use the Lake Ethel Life Fitness/Wellness Trail Extension shall be
prohibited from using the trail as follows:
A. The walking or exercising of any domesticated or farm
animal, including but not limited to dogs, cats or horses;
B. The use of nonmotorized equipment such as bicycles,
skateboards and inline skates;
C. The use of any motorized vehicle or the parking of
any motorized vehicle;
D. The possession and consumption of alcoholic beverages;
E. The possession or use of any controlled substance
as defined by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
No person or groups of persons shall be permitted
to engage in the activity of fishing in Lake Ethel or its canal from
the fitness trail.

Any person or groups of persons who violate
any provision of this article shall be subject to a fine of not nor
more than $1,000 for each offense, plus costs of prosecution, and,
in default of payment of such fine and costs, by imprisonment for
not more than 30 days. The violation of any section or subsection
of this article shall constitute a separate and distinct offense independent
of the violation of any other section or subsection. A separate offense
shall be deemed committed on each day during or on which a violation
occurs or continues to occur.
