The following definitions shall apply in the interpretation and enforcement of this chapter:
REMOTE-CONTROLLED CRAFT
Any watercraft controlled from a remote location.
STEERAGE SPEED
The minimum speed necessary to allow a vessel to be steered while making forward progress, which speed shall not create a wake.
VESSEL
Shall be construed to have the definition as provided in Connecticut General Statutes § 15-127, as amended.
A. 
It shall be unlawful to operate any remote-controlled craft on Hanover Pond at any time of day.
B. 
It shall be unlawful to operate or allow the operation of a vessel on Hanover Pond at a speed greater than steerage speed.
Any person violating the provisions of this chapter may be fined $50 to $90 for each violation. Each instance of operation of a vessel at excessive speed or operation of a remote-controlled craft after the initial notice of violation and/or fine shall be a separate offense.
