A. 
Parking prohibited upon declaration. Whenever the Chief of Police, or a designated representative, declares a snowstorm emergency within the Borough of Seaside Park due to the covering or partial covering of any streets by snow, sleet or freezing rain, no vehicle shall be permitted to park curbside on any streets within the Borough until said emergency is declared over.
B. 
Parking of disabled vehicles prohibited. Disabled vehicles shall not be parked on any streets during snow emergencies.
C. 
Authority to remove. Any police officer is authorized and empowered to take possession and remove any disabled vehicle, any parked vehicle or any vehicle abandoned so as to obstruct traffic or snow removal on any street during snow emergencies. Any such unoccupied vehicle parked or standing in violation of this section shall be deemed a nuisance and a menace to the safe and proper regulation of traffic within the Borough. The owner shall pay the reasonable costs of the removal and storage which may result from such removal before regaining possession of the vehicle.
D. 
Violations and penalties. Any person who violates any one or more subsections of this section shall be subject to the general penalty in Chapter 1, Article II, General Penalty, of the Borough Code.

Road closed upon declaration. Whenever the Chief of Police, or a designated representative, shall determine that any street within the Borough of Seaside Park should be closed due to tidal water flooding, stormwater flooding, or other emergency, including road construction which endangers public health or safety, said street may be closed to vehicular traffic and posted and/or barricaded accordingly.
B. 
When roads are closed upon declaration as set forth in Subsection A above, this section shall exempt individuals who may proceed at their own risk upon said areas to gain the most direct access to their residence or business.
C. 
Violations and penalties. Any person who violates any one or more subsections of this section shall be subject to the general penalty in Chapter 1, Article II, General Penalty, of the Borough Code.

D. 
No motor vehicle shall be operated on any public street or roadway within the Borough where flooding and/or freestanding water exists at a speed so as to cast or discharge a wave which carries beyond the edge of said street or roadway.
