Section 100.060 Identify Theft Prevention Program.

The municipal utility has been charged with creating and implementing an Identity Theft Prevention Program, pursuant to the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act of 2003 (15 U.S.C. Section 1681 s(a)(1)) and by the Federal Trade Commission rule (16 C.F.R. Section 681). The Board of Aldermen has reviewed and approved the Identity Theft Prevention Program for the City of Albany's municipal utilities (on file in the City offices) and as required by 16 C.F.R. Section 681.2(e)(1).
