The following term as used in this Article, shall have this prescribed meaning:
LIQUIFIED PETROLEUM GAS
Any material which is composed predominantly of any of the following hydrocarbons, or mixtures of the same: propane, propylene, butanes (normal butane or isobutane), and butylenes.

A. 
No system for the utilization of liquefied petroleum gases nor facilities for the charging of containers or the storage and handling of liquefied petroleum gases shall be installed unless a written permit has been first obtained from the Codes Enforcement Officer or his designee.
B. 
No permit shall be required for the utilization of liquefied petroleum gases from cylinders constructed in accordance with Interstate Commerce Commission specifications but the installer shall in all cases file a written notification with the Codes Enforcement Officer or his designee.
