[HISTORY: Adopted by the Special Town Meeting of the Town of Lee 5-26-1971 by Art. 10 as Ch. 8 1/2 of the 1971 Code. Amendments noted where applicable.]
The Town shall, under MGL c. 121B, § 3, establish a Housing Authority and in that connection shall make any and all determinations and declarations deemed necessary or desirable and take any action in relation thereto.
A. 
The Lee Housing Authority is hereby declared to be properly organized and authorized to transact business and exercise its powers in accordance with the provisions of the applicable sections of MGL c. 121.[1]

B. 
The certified copies of the documents showing the proper organization of the Lee Housing Authority and the appointment of its members shall be made a part of this chapter. (These documents are filed as Document No. 1 in the document book of the Authority).
The seal of this Authority shall be in the form of a circle and shall bear the name of the Authority and the year of its organization. The Secretary is hereby authorized and directed to imprint said seal on the margin of the minutes opposite this chapter.
The office of the Authority shall be located at Town Hall, Main Street, Lee, Massachusetts.
A. 
Regular. Regular meetings of this Authority shall be held at 7:30 p.m. on the second Tuesday in each calendar month at Town Hall, Main Street, Lee, Massachusetts.
B. 
Annual. Annual meetings of this Authority shall be held at 7:30 p.m. on the second Tuesday of March at Town Hall, Main Street, Lee, Massachusetts.
The following bylaws are approved and adopted as the bylaws of the Lee Housing Authority. (The bylaws are filed as Document No. 2 in the document book of the Authority.)
