[CC 1983 App. B Art. VII; Ord. No. 379.5, 5-18-1970]
The purpose of this District is to maintain a residential environment
while permitting a wide variety of dwelling types. Single-family,
two-family, and multiple-family dwelling units are permitted on medium
sized lots, together with such churches, recreational facilities,
and accessory uses as may be necessary or are normally compatible
with residential surroundings. Population densities and height of
buildings permitted are low enough to be generally compatible with
single-family development in the same general neighborhood. The regulations
set forth in this Article or set forth elsewhere in this Chapter,
when referred to in this Article, are the regulations in the "R-4"
Residential District.
