It shall be unlawful for children under 18 years of age to be in or upon or in any vehicle in or upon any of the streets, alleys, parks or public places in the Borough of Mount Wolf at night, after the hour of 11:00 p.m., and until 6:00 a.m., unless such child is accompanied by a parent, guardian or other person having legal custody of such child.
A. 
On Fridays and Saturdays, the curfew hour shall be 12:00 midnight.
B. 
Children who must be in or upon or in vehicles in or upon the streets, alleys, parks and public places of the Borough after the curfew hour because of their employment may obtain from the Mayor a permit which shall exempt them from the terms of this article during the times of such employment and en route between their homes and places of employment.
It shall be unlawful for any parent, guardian or other person having legal custody of any child under 18 years of age to allow or permit such child to go or be in or upon any of the streets, alleys, parks or public places in said Borough during the times specified in § 200-1 of this article.

If any child under 18 years of age shall be found upon any street, alley, parks or other public place within the Borough in violation of § 200-1 of this article, the parents, guardian or person having legal custody of such child shall be guilty of a civil offense, which shall be punishable as set forth in Chapter 1, Article I, General Penalty, § 1-2 of this Code.

The Mayor is hereby authorized to extend the hours of curfew, as set forth in Article I of this chapter, in such manner as he shall deem advisable, by publication of a declaration of extension of curfew in both York daily newspapers.
Any such extension shall be effective upon such publication and shall be of a duration not to exceed 30 days.
