A. 
There is hereby established by the City of Platte City a Downtown Revitalization Program. The purpose of this program is to encourage property owners to perform repairs or updating to their commercial Central Business District "C-1" downtown properties within the City of Platte City and for the purpose of setting up an agreement regarding cost sharing and cooperation between the City and property owner.
B. 
In order to be eligible for City cost-share funding, the property owner must receive prior written approval from the City.

The program is subject to annual appropriations with funds available on a first-come, first-served basis each year.
E. 
The City Administrator may approve revitalization projects when the City share is estimated at fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000.00) or less. The Board of Aldermen must review and approve revitalization agreements which exceed fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000.00).
F. 
The property owners must submit a commercial revitalization plan and application on forms provided by the City of Platte City and follow all program regulations.

The purpose of this program is to encourage property owners to perform repairs or updating to their residential single family "R1-8" properties within the City of Platte City and for the purpose of setting up an agreement regarding cost sharing and cooperation between the City and property owner.
B. 
In order to be eligible for City cost-share funding, the property owner must receive prior written approval from the City before commencing work. Projects exceeding the purchasing limits of the City Administrator must have Board of Aldermen approval.
