The Mayor and Recorder/Treasurer are hereby authorized and directed
to enter into an agreement with the state for the purpose of obtaining
insurance coverage for the employees of the City under the terms and
provisions of the Federal Social Security Act.
Each employee's insurance contribution shall be deducted
from his salary check in accordance with the terms and provisions
of the Social Security Act.
There is hereby appropriated from the general fund of the City
the sums of money necessary to pay the City's share of the insurance
tax in accordance with the terms and provisions of the Social Security
Act.
