Pursuant to §§ 61.195 and 66.0011, Wis. Stats., the
Village elects not to be governed by these portions of §§ 61.19
and 61.23, Wis. Stats., which relate to the selection and tenure of
the Village Clerk, Treasurer and Assessor.
The incumbent in each position is subject to removal at any time
by the Village Administrator, subject to the confirmation of a majority
vote of the incumbent Village Board.
The Village officials set forth in this subsection shall be appointed
at the regular meeting of the Village Board on the third Monday in
December. The appointments shall be made by the Village President
with the approval of a majority of the members of the Village Board,
unless otherwise provided by ordinance. The Village President shall
not vote on such confirmation. The term of office of each such official
shall be as indicated, and all terms shall commence on the first day
of January for the following appointments:
