A. The Village will hereinafter be divided into 14 election wards pursuant
to §§ 5.02(25) and 5.15(2)(b)3 and (2)(d), Wis. Stats.
B. A ward map, on file in the Village Clerk's office, showing the area
covered by each of the 14 official election wards, is hereby made
a part of this chapter. Said map may be amended, as necessary, to
reflect the annexation or detachment of property.
C. A detailed description of the boundaries of each of the official
14 election wards, on file in the Village Clerk's office, is hereby
made a part of this chapter.

The polls in Election Wards 1 through 14, inclusive, shall all
be held in the Grace Lutheran Church ELCA, 715 Sixth Avenue, Grafton,
Wisconsin, effective with elections that occur after November 18,
2019. The polls shall be opened at 7:00 a.m. and closed at 8:00 p.m.
for all elections.

A. Election inspectors. There shall be five election inspectors for
each ward or ward group, pursuant to § 7.30, Wis. Stats.
Election inspectors may be reduced by the Village Clerk to only three
inspectors for each ward or ward group when deemed sufficient to effectively
handle the vote.
B. Qualifications.
1. Each election inspector shall be a qualified elector in Ozaukee County
and meet all of the requirements of § 7.30(2), Wis. Stats.

2. Inspectors shall represent the two dominant recognized political
parties.
C. Appointments. The Village Board, no later than the second Board meeting
in December of odd-numbered years, pursuant to the requirements of
§ 7.30(4), Wis. Stats., shall officially appoint qualified
persons to serve as election inspectors for the Village of Grafton.
Said appointments shall be made from a listing provided by the Village
Clerk and shall be for a term of two years.

1. In the event of a need for additional inspectors or if a vacancy
occurs, the Village Clerk may appoint qualified persons to serve as
election inspectors until such time as the Village Board officially
makes the biannual appointments.
D. Compensation. Compensation of election inspectors shall be determined
by the Village Board as part of the annual budget process.
