The position of Town Historian of the Town of Secaucus is hereby established.
The Town Historian shall be appointed by the Mayor and Council.
The Town Historian shall serve at the pleasure of the Mayor and Council.
The Town Historian shall serve without compensation. The Mayor and Council may appropriate such funds as may be necessary to reimburse the Town Historian for expenses incurred.
The Town Historian shall be responsible for the collecting and preserving of artifacts and materials relating to the history of the Town of Secaucus, and the Town Historian shall establish such programs, activities, or exhibitions relating to the history of the Town of Secaucus with the approval of the Mayor and Council.
