For the services hereinafter mentioned, the Borough Clerk shall be entitled to demand and receive the following fees:
A. 
For certifying any public record such as an ordinance, resolution, minutes and other public document: $5 for each certification.
B. 
For furnishing any ordinance in booklet form, such as the Zoning Ordinance or the Building Code, or any other code, the amount to be charged for each ordinance in booklet form shall be as set forth in § 97-7.
C. 
For a loose-leaf volume of the Code of the Borough of Montvale with the supplemental pages inserted in their proper places, the volume compared with the official copy of the Code and certified: a charge as set forth in § 97-7.
D. 
For a copy of the supplements to the Code of the Borough of Montvale: a charge of $50 a year.
E. 
For a copy of the Tax Map set, including future page supplements for a period of two years: a charge as set forth in § 97-7.
F. 
For a copy of a Zoning Map or street map: a charge as set forth in § 97-7.
G. 
For a copy of the business list: a charge as set forth in § 97-7.
H. 
For a copy of any public document not included in Subsections A through G, the charges shall be as set forth in § 97-7.

For the services hereinafter mentioned, the Police Chief shall be entitled to demand and receive the following fees on behalf of the Borough of Montvale:
A. 
For the furnishing of any copy of any accident report or any other report or record of the police blotter: as set forth in § 97-7.

B. 
For any other public record: see § 97-7.

C. 
To view a videotape produced by the Police Department, in connection with any police investigation: a charge of $50 per hour or part thereof.
D. 
To reproduce a videotape produced by the Police Department: a charge of $50 per hour or part thereof.
(1) 
In addition, the attorney or his representative shall supply his own qualified technician and equipment, subject to the approval of the Chief of Police, for the purpose of copying or rerecording said videotape.
(2) 
For the purposes of Subsections C and D above, viewing and reproduction of videotaped material shall be permitted only during regular daytime business hours by appointment through the Chief of Police. Such procedures shall be monitored in the presence of the Chief of Police or his duly authorized agent, and all municipal equipment shall be operated by such person. All machinery used in the reproduction of videotaped material shall be compatible with the equipment maintained by the municipality and shall be approved by the Chief of Police as being of a nature which will not endanger the loss of material being duplicated, nor its integrity.
E. 
For furnishing of a copy of any photograph produced by the Police Department in connection with a police investigation: as set forth in § 97-7.

F. 
Fingerprinting.

(1) 
For the taking of fingerprints of all persons other than those who are arrested, including, but not limited to, applicants for the following:
(a) 
Liquor licenses.
(b) 
Licensure for any professions, including the buying or selling of stocks, bonds or any other security.
(c) 
A private security agency.
(d) 
Immigration or naturalization.
(e) 
A commercial driving school instructor.
(f) 
A commercial or private bus driver.
(g) 
A person applying for any position where positive identification through fingerprints is required.
(2) 
The fee shall be $25 for each applicant. Proof of identification shall be provided by the applicant before the taking of fingerprints. The applicant shall make an appointment with the Borough Police Department to be scheduled during regular business hours.

For the services hereinafter mentioned, the Fire Chief shall be entitled to demand and receive the following fees:
A. 
For the furnishing of any copy of any fire report: as set forth in § 97-7.
B. 
For any other public record: see § 97-7.

For the services hereinafter mentioned, the Tax Collector shall be entitled to demand and receive the following fees:
A. 
The Collector of Taxes shall charge for the issuance of any duplicate tax bill the sum as set forth in § 97-7.
B. 
The sum per page for independent search computer printouts: as set forth in § 97-7.

For the services hereinafter mentioned, the Municipal Court Administrator shall be entitled to, demand and receive the following fees:
A. 
For certifying any public document such as a complaint, a summons, a warrant or any other pleading or legal document: $5 for each certification.
B. 
For furnishing any copy of any public record, by photostating or otherwise: see § 97-7.

For the services hereinafter mentioned, the Secretary of the Planning Board shall be entitled to demand and receive the following fees:
A. 
For certifying any public record such as a resolution, minutes or documents: $5 for each certification.
B. 
For furnishing any copy of any public record, by photostating or otherwise, such as any resolution or minutes: see § 97-7.

Nothing herein shall be construed as requiring the above-named officers to certify or issue any copy of any record unless the same are public records.
A. 
The Chief of Police shall charge a fee of $15 for each escort by a member of the Police Department of any person individually or persons representing a business enterprise whether the same is a proprietorship, partnership, corporation or other business entity, to and from any bank, savings and loan association or other depository of safekeeping within the territorial limits of the Borough of Montvale.

B. 
In the event that any individual person or persons representing any one of the above-specified business enterprises shall request and receive more than two police escorts within a single day, the Chief of Police shall collect for each such escort in excess of two, the sum of $20 per escort.

C. 
For the purpose of this article, a "day" shall be defined as a twenty-four-hour period extending from 12:00 midnight of each day.
All sums collected under this article shall be considered the funds of the Borough of Montvale and shall be paid by the respective officers to the Treasurer of the Borough of Montvale.
All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with or in contradiction to this article are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict or contradiction.
This article shall take effect immediately upon final passage and publication as required by law.
