It shall be unlawful for any person to carry while walking or
carry in any automobile, motorcycle or other vehicle or concealed
on or about his clothing or person any pistol, revolver, air gun,
rifle or other firearms within the limits of the Borough of Neptune
City.
It shall be unlawful for any person to engage in the shooting
of pistols, revolvers, air guns, rifles or other firearms, or to hunt
or to engage in target practice within the limits of the Borough of
Neptune City.
Nothing contained in §§ 137-1 and 137-2 hereof can be construed to prevent a person from keeping or carrying about his place of business, dwelling house or premises, or on land possessed by him, any such revolver, pistol, firearm or other weapon; or from carrying the same from any place of purchase to his dwelling house or place of business or from his dwelling house or place of business to or from any place where repairing is done to have the same repaired; or to prevent any person from carrying a gun or rifle to and from his residence and the woods or fields beyond the limits of the Borough of Neptune City during any lawful hunting season.
