Any person elected or appointed to the Board of Supervisors of Lower Windsor Township, York County, Pennsylvania, after November 1, 2001, shall be paid the sum of $2,500 per annum as compensation for serving as a Supervisor of said Township.
Said compensation shall be paid in four equal quarterly installments of $625 each payable on the last days of March, June, September and December of each year.
The members of the Board of Supervisors at the time of passage of this article and not elected or re-elected to said Board after November 1, 2001, shall continue to be compensated at the rate in effect prior to the effective date of this article until such time as any member is re-elected to office following the effective date of this article when he may be compensated at the rate established herein from the commencement of his new term.
All ordinances or parts of ordinances inconsistent with the provisions of this article are hereby repealed.
This article shall become effective January 1, 2002, and shall apply to Supervisors taking office on or after that date.
