A. 
The Village of Bloomfield owns and maintains a water/sewer system within the Village of Bloomfield. It is the responsibility of the Public Works Department to maintain the integrity of the system.
B. 
The portion of the water/sewer system which connects the main lines to the individual properties is the responsibility of that property owner.
The Village of Bloomfield will assume second party expenses for repairs to the water/sewer lines only when prior approval has been given by the Superintendent of Public Works.
