B.
Advertising slots are 5 7/8 inches in height by 45 7/8 inches in length.
C.

D.
Annual maintenance of signs will be contracted to the sign vendor.
E.
All gateway signs will be landscaped.
The Village will contract with the sign vendor for annual maintenance of the gateway signs.
Initial funding of gateway signs uses grant funding, not Village taxes. The municipal goal is economic development of the Village, not generating profit from signs. Accordingly, pricing is based on a) covering sign cost; and b) encouraging tourism and supporting local businesses; and c) affordability for small businesses as well as large businesses. Pricing: $350 per slot to order the business sign. Pricing in future years is subject to change based upon actual costs. Application forms are available from the Village Clerk/Treasurer.
A.
First-come, first-served; i.e., first completed application gets first choice of sign location. Renewals are automatic unless Village is notified of nonrenewal by April 30.
B.
Placement of slots on any given sign will be done, where practicable, alphabetically initially. It will be done based upon availability in future years.
A.
The usable space for each sponsor slot consists of a black rectangular space that is 5 7/8 inches high and 45 7/8 inches wide.
B.
To avoid clutter and strive for uniformity and to promote better looking, easier to read signage, no logos will be permitted on signs. All slot letters will be carved and uniform in color (cream), font, and size (upper case letters 2 1/4 inches high; lower case letters 1 3/4 inches high).
The Village will endeavor to administer this sponsor slot program fairly and impartially, including initial and subsequent selection of sign locations and slot positions. However, the Village reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to make the final decision on initial and subsequent location and position of all signs and slots, to cancel any sponsor slot(s) subject to a pro rata refund, and to decline any proposed slot language that it deems unacceptable or unsuitable.
