A. 
The owner or occupant of premises fronting on a sidewalk shall clear such portion of the sidewalk of ice, snow, dirt, rubbish or debris, and keep it clear of such ice, snow, dirt, rubbish or debris. Snow and/or ice shall be removed within 24 hours after the storm depositing such snow and/or ice.
B. 
In the event that personal injury or property damage shall result from the failure of any owner or occupant to comply with the provisions of this section, the owner and the occupant shall be liable to all persons injured, or whose property is damaged directly, or indirectly thereby, and shall be liable to the Village of Dryden to the extent that said Village is required by law or any court to respond in damages to any injured party.
Sidewalks shall be installed according to Village specifications. Sidewalk elevations shall be determined by the Superintendent. Sidewalks shall be constructed of concrete and shall be installed in five-foot-wide by five-foot-long by four-inch-deep blocks, except that where a driveway intersects a sidewalk, the sidewalk in the driveway area shall be six inches deep and reinforced.
No person shall throw or place garbage, litter or refuse on any sidewalk.
No person shall park a vehicle or conveyance in such a manner as to obstruct the free use of a sidewalk.

Failure to comply with any of the provisions of this article shall be deemed a violation and the violator shall be punished as set forth on the Village of Dryden Fine Schedule, which Fine Schedule may be established by resolution and thereafter amended from time to time by resolution of the Village Board of Trustees.
